Before the big day
It starts with a first conversation, in person, by video call or by phone, to understand your wedding and your musical tastes. You send us a list of about 40 tracks, your favourites and the ones you never want to hear, and we draw up a tailored quote.
On the day
Ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dance floor: we can play all day, or only for the moments you choose. Sound and lighting are adapted to your venue and the number of guests. Our sets usually end at 4 a.m.
With live musicians
If you wish, a saxophonist, a percussionist, a guitarist or a singer plays on their own or in dialogue with the DJ.
What a service can include
Every wedding gets a tailored quote, depending on your venue and your wishes. Here is what a full service can include, from preparation to the end of the night.
A preparation meeting
An in-depth conversation, in person, by video call or by phone, to understand your wedding, your guests and your venue. This is where the day’s running order takes shape.
Wishlist and blacklist
You send us a list of about 40 must-play tracks, and a blacklist: the tracks, artists or styles you never want to hear. Both matter equally.
Sound
Sound sized for your venue and your number of guests: clear, balanced sound, from the ceremony to the dance floor.
Lighting
Lighting designed for the venue, revealing its architecture and atmosphere without overpowering the place, from dinner to the dance floor.
Microphones
Microphones for speeches, announcements and entertainment, ready when you need them.
Setup and hours
We set up the equipment one to two hours before the service begins. We then play until 4 a.m., with an extension possible in exceptional cases, to be agreed in the quote.
Château wedding DJ: sound that suits the venue
A château wedding has its rules: acoustics, hours, sometimes a sound limiter. We identify these constraints with you beforehand and size the sound and lighting for the venue, whether it is a château, an estate or a garden.
We work in the châteaux and estates of Gironde, from the Médoc to Sauternes. Sound limiter included, we adapt to get the best result possible within the framework set by the venue.
DJ and saxophonist, or other live musicians
For the cocktail hour, the dinner or the opening of the dance floor, a DJ and a saxophonist play together: the saxophone converses with the music without replacing it. If you wish, we can also offer a percussionist, a guitarist, a violinist or a vocalist, playing alone or with the DJ. They are independent artists, selected for your project, whom we coordinate with the DJ.
From Arcachon Bay to Saint-Émilion
Based in Bordeaux, we work across Gironde: on Arcachon Bay, from Cap Ferret to Arès, in the vineyards of Saint-Émilion, the Médoc or Sauternes, and as far as Dordogne and Charente-Maritime. Further afield, we also travel throughout France and Europe: travel costs are built into the quote.

A team of DJs, sound and lighting
We work with a team of DJs with varied musical worlds, selected to guarantee the same level of service. If we are already booked on your date, or in case of an emergency on the day, one of them steps in with our equipment and under our name.
Sound and lighting are part of the service, sized for your venue: clear, balanced sound, and lighting that reveals the place without overpowering it. Garden, château or hall, we always respect the venue’s rules, sound limiter included.

Your questions about weddings
How far in advance should we book?
There is no minimum notice, but the earlier you book, the better your chances that the date is still available. And if we are already committed that day, our team of DJs can step in under the THIBAULT L EVENT name, with our equipment and our standards.
How do we secure our date?
Your date is secured once we receive the signed contract and a 50 % deposit. The balance is paid in the week before the event.
Can we choose the music?
Of course. We invite you to send us a list of around 40 tracks: your favourites, and the ones not to be missed at key moments. Your blacklist matters just as much — tracks, artists or styles you do not want to hear.
How late do you play?
Our performances generally end at 4 a.m. An extension is possible as an exception, to be planned when the quote is drawn up.
What equipment do you bring, and when do you set up?
Depending on your quote and the venue’s own equipment, we bring the sound system, lighting and microphones, sized for your venue and your number of guests. Setup takes place one to two hours before the service begins.
Can we add a saxophonist or other musicians?
Yes. A saxophonist, percussionist, guitarist, violinist or vocalist can play alone or in dialogue with the DJ, for the cocktail hour, the dinner or the party. They are independent artists, selected for your project and coordinated by us; they are added to the quote.
What happens if the venue imposes a sound limiter?
We always respect the rules of the venue hosting us, and we adapt our setup to get the best possible sound within those limits. We simply recommend checking these constraints in advance, to make sure they match the evening you have in mind.
Do you travel outside Bordeaux?
Yes — across Nouvelle-Aquitaine, throughout France and Europe. Travel, equipment transport, accommodation and meal costs are built directly into the quote.
What happens if you cannot make it on the day?
We call on one of the DJs in our team, selected to guarantee the same standard of performance, with our equipment and under our name. And if, exceptionally, no worthy replacement were possible, every amount paid would be refunded in full.
How much does a performance cost?
We do not work from a price list: every quote is tailored, based on the date, the venue and distance, the hours and length of presence, the equipment required and the number of guests. As a guide, our wedding performances start from €1,500. For private parties and corporate events, the formulas vary too much to give a typical price: get in touch for a personalised quote.
